How to get here...
By road From the A19 North and South, take the A66 West and follow signs for Middlesbrough. Leave the A66 at the exit signed for the University of Teesside. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Marton Road (cineworld and pizza hut are on your left). At the crossroads turn right onto Borough Road. Continue down Borough Road and turn right into Melrose Street and follow the road round the bend. Our car park is on your right.
By train mima is a short 10 minute walk from Middlesbrough train station. As you leave the train station turn left and walk down to Albert Road. Then turn right and walk towards the town centre. We are situated on your left.
By air Durham Tees Valley International Airport is 20 minutes away from mima.
By foot The main entrance to visitors is via Centre Square facing Albert Road (A172).
Parking
Paid parking is available at the back of mima with additional parking on Wilson Street. The entrance to the car park from Melrose Street/Grange Road is via Borough Road. There is plenty of additional parking within a five minute walk of the building. Parking is FREE for 2 hours, and £1 per hour thereafter. Motorcycles and blue badge are FREE.
