mima has been working with colleagues across the region, from artists to local authorities, in assessing the creative sectors’ needs and opportunities within the Tees Valley. A mapping document was produced, to download this document click here. 

This has resulted in the development of a Tees Valley Visual Arts (TVVA) Strategy and Action Plan. This plan aims to put practical measures in place and enable the development of visual arts opportunities in the Tees Valley over the coming 3-5 years. To download this document click here.

As part of this, a development fund has been allocated to support projects that seek to work within the aims of the TVVA Strategy. To apply for funding download the Strategic Development Fund application form here.
